L'Homme est une femme comme les autres

I've just seen it serendipitously on the telly. If I recall correctly, reviews hadn't been particularly good when it first was shown back in 1998.
Well, I liked it very much. The Jewish families (the orthodox one and the assimilated one) are not too clichéd, the gay hero isn't either, and Elsa Zylberstein is perfect. The film is supposed to be a comedy/romance, but it carries a bitterness that is fully revealed at the end. Recommended.
