Zinda Laash
This 1967 Lollywood film is the Pakistani take on the classic vampire myth. The story is pretty faithful to Bram Stoker's novel but is set in 1960s Pakistan (with incredibly good-looking girls, my, what a difference with today!). The rather convincing horror story is interspersed with the usual Asian song-and-dance numbers, giving the film a very, very weird aspect but also welcome breaks with stunning actresses, especially young Deeba. All in all, I really liked this film, and found it had quite an erotic charge. Recommended!
