Excellent film, with a lot of characters, a lot of parallel story lines with loose interrelationships, à la Short Cuts. This is a pretty difficult genre to master. The main difference with Short Cuts is that Love Actually is (a) a comedy and (b) a British comedy, meaning that it's a very enjoyable film to watch (I love comedies) and also that the film has that special kind of humour that only Brits manage to have. Lovely.
